      Avaya ENGAGE will be held from February 2-5, 2020 in Phoenix, AZ. The conference will be held at the Phoenix Convention Center. The conference hotels are the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown, Hyatt Regency Phoenix Downtown, and Renaissance Phoenix Downtown located in downtown Phoenix – all within easy walking distance of the convention center.

    • What is the dress code for the conference? What about social events?

      The dress code for the conference proceedings, solutions expo, and social events is business casual.

    • Will there be an Avaya ENGAGE mobile app?

      Yes! The app will be released approximately a month before the conference is scheduled to start. All registered attendees will receive download instructions via email once the app is released.


    It is highly recommended to log in to your IAUG account before registering. This is vital to ensure correct pricing, profile information, and receipt of recordings, handouts and other relevant information.     • When does the Early Bird registration pricing end?

      The Early Bird registration pricing ends November 6, 2019! After November 6, the Regular registration pricing begins, which is an increase of $250 per person for the Full Conference and Bundled Package passes.

    • What are the registration packages/passes available for Avaya ENGAGE?

      Conference Registration
      Includes access to all main stage keynotes, breakout sessions, solutions expo, meals, and all networking events (including opening party, expo receptions, and closing party).

      Group Registrations
      Includes access to all main stage keynotes, breakout sessions, solutions expo, meals, and all networking events (including opening party, expo receptions, and closing party). The discounted ticket price of $950 per person only applies to the customer attendee type for groups of 5 or more people registering at the same time from the same company. Please contact for the applicable discount code.

      International Conference
      Includes access to all main stage keynotes, breakout sessions, solutions expo, meals, and all networking events (including opening party, expo receptions, and closing party). This registration type applies only to those attending from outside of North America. Attendees from Canada and Mexico are not eligible for this registration type.

      One-Day Conference Pass
      Includes meals, sessions, and evening reception for one day. Multiple One-Day passes can be purchased.

      Solutions Expo Plus Pass
      Includes solution expo access (including Tues-Wed Lunch), expo receptions, general sessions, opening party, and closing party.

      Companion Pass
      Includes access to all networking events (including opening party, expo receptions, and closing party).

      Pre-conference Workshops
      Includes access to pre-conference workshops on the morning of Sunday, February 2. Pre-conference workshops are priced at $300 each. The list of pre-conference workshops being offered can be found on the registration site.

    • How do I register?

    • When does online registration end?

      Online registration will close Thursday, January 30 at midnight CST. Onsite registration will be available at the Phoenix Convention Center in the North Building outside Hall DE on Sunday, February 2 starting at 7:30 AM. Please note that there will be an increase in onsite registration cost by $250.

    • How do I register as a group?

    • Can I bring a Companion (Guest)?

      Yes! Companions are welcome at all Avaya ENGAGE networking events, such as the expo receptions and the opening and closing parties, for an additional fee. You can add companions to your registration during your initial setup. Please contact if you need to add a guest after registering.

    • What is the cancellation policy?

      Cancellations must be received in writing on or before January 11, 2020. A processing fee of $250 USD will be assessed for all cancellations received on or before January 11, 2020. No refunds will be made for cancellations received after January 11, 2020. All medical, family emergency and travel related cancellations can be submitted to Refund determination for these requests will be determined post conference.

    • What is the registration transfer policy?

      Should you no longer be able to attend Avaya ENGAGE but want to transfer your registration to another person, please contact All transfer requests must be made by Friday, January 24, 2020. After this date, no substitutions will be accepted.

    • By when do I need to pay my registration fee?

      If you opt to pay by check or to be invoiced, the deadline to receive payment is Monday, January 20, 2020. If your check is not received by January 20, 2020, then you will be required to pay by credit card. Please make sure your invoice number is included on all checks and/or wire transfers.

    • Is Membership included in my conference registration?

      Attendees who register for the full conference, bundle, or international ticket options are eligible for one year of an IAUG membership IF they are not a current or previous paid member. Those who are eligible for this complimentary membership will receive log in information from IAUG directly during the months leading up to or shortly after Avaya ENGAGE.


    • What are the conference hotels?

      We have partnered with the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown, Hyatt Regency Phoenix Downtown, Renaissance Phoenix Downtown for this year’s conference.

    • How will I get to/from the convention center and the conference hotels?

      Because all conference hotels are within easy walking distance of the convention center, shuttles will not be provided in Phoenix.

    • What if I’m traveling internationally?

      For entry into the United States, your passport must be good for at least 6 months after your departure date.

      Residents of Canada and most European countries do not need a visa to visit the United States if they are staying for less than 90 days. However, residents of these countries do require an ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization).       You will have to pass through United States Customs if arriving by air. At United States airports, you must present a completed customs declaration form (which may or may not be provide in-flight).

    • What food is available at the hotels or through the conference?

      Conference hotels do not include complimentary breakfast but it is offered at the convention center. Registration includes breakfast and lunch on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday plus morning and afternoon breaks at the convention center. Food will also be served at the Solutions Expo evening receptions on Monday and Tuesday and the opening and closing events.

    • Are government rate rooms available in the conference hotels?

      There are a limited number of government per diem rooms available at each property. Please call the hotel reservations department directly to reserve your room at the government rate.

    • Can you suggest transportation options available from the Phoenix airport?

    • How do I become an IAUG member?

    • Why won’t my IAUG username and password work when I try to register as a member?

      Your IAUG membership might have expired. Please renew your membership at the website listed above. Under the “Join IAUG” menu, please select “Renew my Membership”.

    • What is the weather like in Phoenix in February?

      In most years, Phoenix averages a daily maximum temperature for February that's between 68° and 75° F (20° to 24° C). The minimum temperature usually falls between 46° and 51° F (8° to 11° C).

    • Which airports are closest to Phoenix?

      Flights to and from Phoenix go through Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) and is located 5 miles (8 km) away from the Phoenix Convention Center. It may take between 15-30 minutes to get between the airport and the area around the convention center, depending on traffic.
