Virtualization of Avaya Solutions – Concept to Deployment
This boot-camp will start with some basic level setting of VMware Virtualization concepts and terminology. The session will also cover Avaya product and design requirements (vCPU, Ghz, Gb, Reservations etc..)
The session will then expand into the architecture options:

Packet Trace Tools and Trace Interpretation
This session will describe the many trace tools included in the Avaya Aura Suite and how to interpret the calls shown in each. Included will be a description of each tool:
There will be demonstrations and discussions of how to access/invoke the trace tools, types of call flows, and a description of what to look for in a trace that might cause certain issues. This information will allow the student to better understand how the Avaya Aura servers communicate and what fields can affect or cause certain issues.
Remote Worker Workshop
This workshop will introduce to the students how to setup remote workers on their Avaya Aura based system. The session will cover configuring your Avaya Communication Manager, Avaya System Manager, Avaya Session Manager and the Avaya Session Border Controller for Enterprise to allow your workforce to use softphone applications such as Avaya IX Workplace (formerly Avaya Equinox) and hardphones such as the Avaya J179 or Avaya 9611 phones. Students will see live demonstrations on concepts such as configuration stations in SMGR for remote workers, configuring trunks between servers, and configuring security rule sets and policies in the SBCE to allow users to work securely. Finally, there will be a discussion about security certificates, and the benefits and pitfalls of different certificate sources.
Call Center Elite Admin 101
This session will describe Basic Concepts, Understanding & Best Practices of CC Elite Administration. Through the session we will cover an overview of Call Center Elite Features, Configuring Call Center Elite: Skill, Agents, Stations, Announcements, VDNs and Vectors. Call Vectoring examples and How to improve overall performance through LAI, BSR and Variables in Vectors and VDN. This information will allow the student to better understand their Call Center Elite systems and provide operational best practices.
