Steve Kouba is the Vice President for Avaya’s Central Area sales team. He is responsible for the sales, systems and services portfolio for a fourteen state area in the Midwest market. Prior to joining Avaya, Steve spent more than 17 years at IBM Corporation where he was a top performing software and technology sales leader. In his most recent role as Business Unit Executive, Steve lead the strategy and growth of five major software brands - Big Data, Business Analytics, Information Management, Rational and Z Series, and was responsible for over $600 million in revenue. Steve started his career at IBM as an Inside Sales Representative in Dallas, TX and moved up through the ranks, excelling in a variety of roles ranging from Client Representative and Client Executive for the utility industry in Philadelphia and New York, respectively, to a series of leadership roles in the Chicago market.

Davide Pacchini has over 20 years of experience in strategy and business development roles in communications, mobile, software and the high-technology industry. At Avaya, Davide is the leader of the Global Alliances team with focus on critical collaboration and cloud partners. Recent announcements with Google, VMware, Salesforce and others have developed partnerships to enable both technical solutions and new cloud and services channels for team engagement and customer engagement offers.

Prior to Avaya, Davide was at Nokia and was responsible for strategic agreements on messaging, cloud, device interfaces and consumer services. Developed deals and presented to the board several opportunities in: messaging, cloud services (Global partner), media, and many others. Additionally, worked for a Venture Capital team to develop several internal projects and focused working directly with a CEO of a messaging group that was later divided between managed services and mobile marketing services. Experience came from several years at corporate development and business development at Oracle driving the Java mobile platform to developers.

Davide began his career in management consulting delivering product and strategy recommendations for a Chicago-based firm, Herbst Lazar Bell. Davide has an MBA from the Kellogg Business School and a Master’s and Undergraduate degree in Engineering from the University of Michigan.
