Carson Hostetter is Sales Vice President, US Southern Region for Avaya. Avaya is a leading global provider of next-generation business collaboration and communications software and services.
In this role, Carson is responsible for the strategy, orchestration, execution and inspection of all customer touch points which include sales, services, marketing and field operations in support of Avaya’s business strategy. In his previous role Carson was Vice President, US Maintenance and Managed Services Sales where he was responsible for Avaya’s $1B+ US maintenance and managed services business, serving about 75,000 customers.
Carson joined Avaya as part of its acquisition of Nortel Enterprise Solutions. He led the post-acquisition integration of the Nortel maintenance and managed services business into Avaya. He also led the Channel Services Sales team at Avaya, where he helped Avaya’s top partners grow their services business with Avaya.
Prior to joining Avaya in 2009, Carson assumed roles of increasing responsibility over 10 years at Nortel Networks. His experience included Sales Director for the US VAR Channel, Director of Sales Transformation, and Channel Services Sales.
He has a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from North Carolina State University.
Carson is involved with several local and national organizations focused on improving the Atlanta community by leveraging technology investments such as TechBridge, Women in Technology, and the Georgia CIO Alliance.
Carson resides in the Atlanta area with his wife and four year old daughter. He is a second degree black belt in karate and enjoys playing the occasional round of golf.
