As Director of Project Management and Field Support for Atlantic Aviation, Joel Collins directs day-to-day, multi-site support operations as well as large-scale infrastructure projects. He manages overall selection, preparation and training of field service staff to support 70 locations with timely, consistent delivery. In addition, he provides consulting, guidance and project management on corporate IT initiatives. With more than 20 years of experience, Joel understands and plans for the human component of successful IT operations. He specializes in collaborating across teams to ensure understanding and adoption of new initiatives and ongoing programs. From startups to Fortune 500 companies, he has worked with many industries including retail, consulting and transportation as well as active duty U.S. Air Force.

Carson Hostetter is Sales Vice President, US Southern Region for Avaya. Avaya is a leading global provider of next-generation business collaboration and communications software and services.

In this role, Carson is responsible for the strategy, orchestration, execution and inspection of all customer touch points which include sales, services, marketing and field operations in support of Avaya’s business strategy. In his previous role Carson was Vice President, US Maintenance and Managed Services Sales where he was responsible for Avaya’s $1B+ US maintenance and managed services business, serving about 75,000 customers.

Carson joined Avaya as part of its acquisition of Nortel Enterprise Solutions. He led the post-acquisition integration of the Nortel maintenance and managed services business into Avaya. He also led the Channel Services Sales team at Avaya, where he helped Avaya’s top partners grow their services business with Avaya.

Prior to joining Avaya in 2009, Carson assumed roles of increasing responsibility over 10 years at Nortel Networks. His experience included Sales Director for the US VAR Channel, Director of Sales Transformation, and Channel Services Sales.

He has a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from North Carolina State University.

Carson is involved with several local and national organizations focused on improving the Atlanta community by leveraging technology investments such as TechBridge, Women in Technology, and the Georgia CIO Alliance.

Carson resides in the Atlanta area with his wife and four year old daughter. He is a second degree black belt in karate and enjoys playing the occasional round of golf.

Bob Romano leads Video Marketing at Avaya. With over 20 years of experience in the video conferencing industry and a daily user of online conferencing technologies he is an expert in how to effectively meet over distance. Prior to his current role at Avaya Bob was Global Vice President of Marketing at Radvision and has held positions as president of VCON, VP of Sales and Marketing at First Virtual Communications and with IBM in a variety of sales and finance positions.

John Matson is responsible for global business development for Android and Chrome as part of the Google for Work division. John joined Google in 2005, and was part of the original team that launched the Google Search Appliance and the Google Apps for Work offering and helped build the business to what it is today. Prior to Google, John spent a few years in Enterprise sales at both Dell and Hewlett-Packard. John earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology and holds a patent for the wireless delivery of images. John resides in Austin, Texas with his wife Elizabeth and their 2 year old daughter Hadley.
